Genaro Delgado Parker and Alejandro Toledo: Partners in crime
There is no doubt by now that in Alejandro Toledo’s government Genaro Delgado Parker was the primary beneficiary of the dishonest business deals that have been made during this administration, which cannot be denied after the distribution of the jeopardizing audio tapes between Genaro Delgado Parquer-Fernando OLIVERA transmitted on journalist Cesar Hildebrant’s television program.

In order to quietly raid the state’s treasury with impunity, President Toledo thought that by forcefully taking Panamericana and América Television from their rightful owners and giving these channels to his friends, he would have a compliant and controllable media to cover up his irregularities, but he was wrong! Despite everything, real journalists always denounce his shameless corruption.
Without a doubt, the journalists and workers of Panamericana Television, which was manipulatively taken from Ernesto Schutz Freundt and given to Genaro Delgado Parker, are in the most difficult of situations. Delgado Parker, per usual, does not pay salaries, CTS (Compensation for Time of Service), or medical insurance, among other benefits. And what does the Department of Labor and the Journalist Association have to say about this situation?
But Genaro “papaupa” Delgado Parker isn’t fading away and unfortunately for most people we will have Genaro Delgado Parker for yet a while to come. His recent presence at Beatriz Merino’s swearing in as the new People’s Defender, Peru’s government affiliated ombudsman, confirms his continuing presence in politics.
